Minimum Free Space Oven
The Minimum Free Space is designed for the determination of moisture in coal or coke by drying in a nitrogen atmosphere. Oven meets ISO-687 and ISO-1172 Specifications.
Features
- A resistance wire buried in a refractory slab heats the oven.
- Case is fabricated from zinc coated steel sheet.
- The oven chamber, formed from an aluminum casting, provides uniform temperature throughout. Mineral wool insulation helps to maintain accurate temperatures. The chamber has a drop down door with an airtight seal. A solid-state controller monitors temperature.
- The nitrogen gas is preheated before entering the chamber. Gas flows, inlet and outlet, are monitored by flow meters. Outlet flow meter can be by-passed to avoid condensation build up in the meter.
- CE approved.
- Chamber dimensions are 1”(25mm)H(This height is reduced to 22mm beneath the control thermocouple) x 73/4”(195mm)W x 111/2” (290mm)D.
- External dimensions are 71/4” (185mm)H x 191/4” (490mm)W x 173/4” (450mm)D.
