Petroleum Coke Volatile Matter Programmer (Shown with 2 ea 90-8480-47 Fieldner Furnaces)
The Z90-8523-01 includes the support drive and the control system and requires two (2) 90-8480-47 Fieldner Furnaces and thermocouples that are not included.
The Programmable Drive, Crucible Support System has been designed in accordance with ASTM Method D4421-94 for determination of volatile matter in petroleum coke. The motions and times are in accordance with the ASTM method. In addition to the standard, the lowering rates, hold times and positions may be factory adjusted for similar volatile matter tests.
The Dual-Furnace, Temperature Control System features two solid-state, digital microprocessor based temperature controllers. Each control circuit is self-tuning and uses a zero-crossover-firing (CSR) relay for minimum line noise interference. The system will independently control two volatile matter furnaces.
