M-2 Microgripper is evolutionary product designed to provide high accuracy manipulation of microscopic specimens with precise and predictable control of the direction and force applied to any object. The new level of control allows for selective handling of even the smallest samples such as cells, insects, bacteria, fine wire and ultra thin electrodes, optical elements, and electronic microcircuits without causing damage to the objects.

Features

• The M-2 incorporates a 7 volt DC Motor Encoder Assembly with Variable Speed Control which precisely opens and closes the attached stainless steel tips to grip and release the specimens.
• The MC Controller provides precise position control of the M-2's gripper tips and indicates such on its LCD Display.
• Reproducible grip force on a specimen can be easily maintained with this system.
• Both Controllers allow the Microgrippers to gently hold even the smallest microscopic specimens.
• The M-2 System has a broad array of stainless steel Gripper Tip options for the most demanding applications.

• 3 dimensional movement with two conveniently located levers.
• 10 to 1 reduction in hand movement.
• 10 mm excursion in all three axes.
• No arc movement or backlash.

The complete M-2 and MG-1000 Systems are comprised of the Microgripper Assembly, Interchangeable Gripper Tips and a Controller. The System is fully compatible with any available micromanipulator such as the D10P/S10 Micromanipulator. For operation on 115V, 60 Hz.
