You may browse our web site without a requirement to set up an account and log-in, but you must complete the registration process and log-in to place an order through the shopping cart. The links to the account area of the site are at the top right of each page of the web site. You can select New User to set up an account, or Login if you already have an account. Selecting My Account, once set up and logged in, will take you to a page allowing access to personal information, shopping lists, past orders, and more.
Preiser’s Product Line
Preiser, an ISO 9001 Certified Company, is a full-line national and international distributor of over 100,000 products for laboratory use from more than 2,000 worldwide vendors. Preiser is also a manufacturer of specialty testing products for coal and coke, minerals and water testing laboratories.
Finding an Item
We make it easy to find the products you need. Using our Product Search box at the top right of the page, you can search by catalog number, vendor item number, competitors’ item numbers and product description. And under the heading Programs on the right, you can choose categories to help narrow your selection process.
Our general laboratory use products are competitively priced and many items are available in each, package and/or case quantities. Most of these type items, and many other laboratory items, are priced on our web site. For those not priced, marked as “Price: By Quote Only”, you can request a current quotation by adding them to your cart and choosing “Quote Request” as your Payment Method during checkout. No order will be placed, but instead you will be provided a quotation via return E-mail. And, whether logged in or not, you can select Request a Quote from the More Information section on the right side of the page. We will respond promptly, usually within 24 hours. Laboratory equipment may be quoted on an installed basis upon request.
Special Stock Program
No need for you to maintain a large inventory of materials, especially of hazardous chemicals, as we have programs that will maintain Reserved, or Consigned, Inventory just for you at no additional charge. You may choose and use these items as you require and only be charged for such at the time of use. Talk with one of our representatives to discuss the details.
We accept orders via our web page, as well as by phone, FAX, E-mail and US Mail. We will accept blanket orders and repetitive orders, such as from your shopping list, making it easier for you to order your routine requirements. We accept company credit cards and purchase order numbers during the checkout process on the website. We can be contacted to discuss any special terms you may request. We are sorry for any inconvenience, we work with businesses and organizations only, and are unable to accept orders from individuals.
Our terms are Net 30 Days for customers in the U.S., after credit has been approved and an open account has been established. Payment by customers abroad may be made through irrevocable letter of credit on a US bank, or as otherwise agreed upon at the time of the order. VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards, and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) are also accepted.
Please inspect all shipments immediately upon receipt. If external damage is evident, or internal damage is suspected, note the damage on all copies of the delivery receipt before accepting the shipment from the carrier’s driver. Save the damaged product/s and all cartons and packing material. It is your responsibility to immediately request that the carrier make an inspection. Contact our Customer Service Department at 1.800.624.8285 and inform them of the damage, with all relevant information concerning the order. If you discover concealed damage, please request a carrier inspection within 15 days of delivery, and then notify our Customer Service Department immediately.
We accept returns of items within 30 days of receipt. Just telephone our Customer Service Department at 1.800.624.8285 with an explanation of why the return is being made and obtain a Customer Return Goods Authorization Number. Such products should be returned in the original container along with such other appropriate items as instruction manuals, warranty cards, accessory products that were supplied with the item, etc. Return the item/s marked as freight collect. Restocking charges may be applicable depending on circumstances relating to the return. Items must be in like-new condition and complete. Chemicals are not acceptable for return.
We maintain an instrument service center that is an important part of our sales and marketing activities. Simply telephone our Customer Service Department at 1.800.624.8285 for a Customer Return Goods Authorization Number and describe the problem. Return the item to be repaired by prepaid freight with a confirmed written description of the problem.
