Preiser Portable Temperature Probe, Reading 0 to 750 degree C, nine volt battery for 500 hour life.
The Preiser Temperature Probe conforms to proposed NCA/CEA recommendations for measuring coal temperature in barges and stockpiles. Features rugged durability and provides accurate temperature surveillance.
Constructed of stainless steel for strength, durability and rust resistance, the nine foot probe has machined increments at 3ft. intervals to indicate depth of insertion. The weather resistant plug box is equipped with three heavy duty receptacles for temperature readout at each level.
The detachable hand-held temperature indicator, reading 0-750 degree C, is supplied with a three foot shielded cable which permits its use with any number of probes. It is powered by a nine volt battery with an approximate 500-hour life. An indicator warns when the battery needs replacing. The LCD display is easily read in the bright sunlight.
