| The Thermo Scientific Benchtop Muffle Furnace is ideal for general laboratory use, including gravimetric analysis, sintering, quantitative analysis and heat treating.
Type F47920-80 provides 120 cubic inches (2 liters) of heating area. For added protection, the door safety switch stops power to the heating elements when you open the door.

Digital programmable control with 1 stored program of 8 segments. Furnaces with this control also use a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay.

Two open coil heating elements on the chamber’s sides assure fast heat-up with minimum temperature gradient.
- Thermal-efficient ceramic insulation surrounds the chamber for maximum energy efficiency.
- Rear of the chamber incorporates a 0.38" (0.95 cm) diameter port for monitoring chamber temperatures with independent measuring devices.
- Power cord is supplied with all models.
